Warranty Information

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:

  • to cancel your service contract with us; and
  • to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.

You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods.

If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.

Warranty Claims

Warranty claims can be made by calling 1 300 786 665 or by emailing us at hello@nextgenautoglass.com.au

What Happens Next

After we receive notification that you’d like to make a claim we’ll immediately arrange for an inspection of your vehicle, or will agree to fix your damaged glass or replace it if needed.

Proof of Purchase

Our warranty is dependent on you being able to provide reasonable proof that the service was provided by Next Gen Autoglass.  As such you may be requested to present a tax invoice, a receipt of payment or other reasonable proof.

Faults beyond our control

Our warranty doesn’t cover faults that are outside of our control. This includes things like damage from an impact, driving your vehicle before the recommended safe drive away time we told you about has passed, pre-existing rust or corrosion in your vehicle’s body, a rubber gasket that you asked to be reused instead of replaced, misusing the vehicle, neglect from the owner, environmental wear and tear, or any pre-existing faults with the vehicle.

Chip Repairs

Usually, when we fix a chip, it stops it from turning into a crack. But, sometimes a small blemish may remain that won’t affect your driving vision. This is normal and more often than not unavoidable. If by chance, the chip gets bigger during the repair process (which is rare and not the fault of our technicians), it isn’t possible to repair the chip. In this case we’ll deduct the cost of the chip repair from a new windscreen. Similarly if for any reason, you’re not happy with how the repaired chip looks, we’ll go ahead and replace the windscreen for you and subtract the cost of the chip repair from the cost of the replacement windscreen.

This warranty represents our commitment to providing the highest quality services and ensuring customer satisfaction. Nothing on this page limits or reduces your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
